Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua has urged the voters to only elect those people that will improve their welfare.

Mutua was speaking Tuesday when he met over 5,000 opinion leaders from all Villages in Machakos county and Maendeleo Chap Chap aspirants. 

Mutua assured them that nominations for Maendeleo Chap Chap will be fair and only the best and most popular candidate will be picked. Mutua asked the opinion leaders to back Maendeleo Chap Chap as it's set to be one of the biggest parties in Ukambani and Kenya.

He outlined what Chap Chap stands for by giving examples of development projects that he promised and delivered such as Kithimani-Makutano road.
