He is said to have issued double papers for the president, MP and Senator positions to each voter.

Embaksi East voters have expressed concern after voting exercise delayed for one hour. They claimed there was a plot to sabotage voting in ODM strongholds.

Voting is yet to start at Lasco Club in Mvita. The voters have complained of no communication from IEBC officials at the polling station.

Voting kicked of smoothly in most parts of the country on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

Long queues were witnessed in Nairobi, Kisumu, Kakamega, Gatundu South, Siaya and Uasin Gishu, just to mention a few, as early as 4am.

Siaya Governor Cornel has just arrived at the polling station ready to cast his vote at 10:25AM.

Machakos governor Alfred Mutua casts his vote at Mlolongo at 10:30AM. His biggest rival is Wavinya Ndeti who is in Wiper. She managed to be on the ballot.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga heading to their respective polling stations. 11:26AM

President Uhuru Kenyatta votes at Mutomo at 11:40 as does Raila Odinga at Old Kibra Secondary school.
