It is now official that president Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party, will field a candidate, in quest to unseat governor Dr Alfred Mutua.
This could be seen as 'rivalry' since Dr Mutua through his Maendeleo Chap Chap party (MCCP), declared support for Jubilee, despite being elected through Cord's, Wiper party.
Jubilee Ukambani Regional coordinator Victor Munyaka confirmed that plans were on course, to find suitable candidate who will send Dr Mutua home after the August 8, polls.
"We will not shelve from fielding a candidate to be the next governor in this county. Jubilee is favouring no party,'' Munyaka told the press in Machakos, Wednesday, flanked by area Jubilee leaders.
