The Cord coalition has given the Jubilee administration an eight-day ultimatum to review the contentious Elections Law 2015 that was passed last week by Jubilee MPs at the National Assembly.
Cord leader Raila Odinga warned that if this will not be done by January 4, 2017, the Country should be ready for mass protests.
He warned that the demonstrations would only be stopped if Jubilee respects the agreement reached by the joint Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) select committee, which approved the laws.
Speaking in Kango, Nyamira County, Odinga said the protests would have started but the coalition respected the festive season for Kenyans to enjoy.
