Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has asked opposition leader Raila Odinga not to complain when loses in the repeat presidential poll.Speaking to journalists in Kiambu Town on Thursday, Wamatangi said Raila is headed for a humiliating loss on October 26.The Senator said NASA is not campaigning and will later complain and present false claims that Jubilee has rigged the election.“Raila Odinga should not cry when he loses the election again because he is holding press conferences when his competitor President Uhuru Kenyatta is seeking votes across the country,” said Wamatangi as quoted by the People Daily.Wamatangi hit out at Raila and his NASA brigade, saying elections are never won through press conferences. The Kiambu Senator said Raila is afraid of campaigning because he knows that he does not have the numbers to beat Uhuru in the repeat poll.He said Uhuru will win comfortably in the repeat presidential poll slated for next month. The Senator at the same time defended Jubilee’s move to amend election laws, arguing that the measures will ensure credibility of the repeat polls. He further called for political tolerance and humility across the political divide, and asked NASA leaders and supporters to exercise peace and shun violence protests.NASA has announced it will be conducting mass protests every Monday and Friday to push for reforms at the IEBC before the repeat election. The opposition is pushing for the removal and prosecution of IEBC top officials accused of bungling the August 8 presidential election.
