The final whistle has been blown, with Kenyans heading to the ballot, to cast their vote, and elect leaders of their choice, today (Tuesday).Long ques were witnessed across various polling stations across the country, even before the 6 am voting time.By 12 am, voters could be heard shouting and blowing whistles, asking election officials at the polling stations to open up for them to vote.In Nairobi, roads in residential areas were filled by sounds, as people woke up others to go vote.
In Siaya County, many voters arrived at various polling stations by 12 am, saying they were ready to cast their votes.According to the IEBC election laws, voting should start from 6 am and end at 5 pm, unless special on special occurrences.
