It is a big blow to Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua after the Court of Appeal nullified his August 8, 2017 poll victory on Friday.
The petition was filed by Wiper's Machakos gubernatorial candidate in last year's election Wavinya Ndeti.
After the ruling, Kenyans on Twitter reacted differently with some advising Mutua to challenge the appellant court's judgment at the Supreme Court for a fresh ruling.
