An Italian tourist was on Sunday killed after being trampled by an elephant at the Tsavo National Park on Sunday.

According to Malindi police boss, Muchangi Mutava, the tourist identified as Fernando Mocdola,66, was taking close up pictures of the elephant when the incident occurred.

According to the star, Mocdola succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at a Malindi Hospital.

His body was taken to Malindi hospital mortuary awaiting an autopsy slated for this week.
