The Kibera constituency slogan of Elimu Kwanza has received positive feedback from different people in society.

The move was kicked off by the area MP, Ken Okoth in a bid to help children in the slum area achieve their dreams by allowing them to go to school. The move has also helped Okoth create mutual relationships with teachers in the schools around.

The MP for Ndhiwa constituency, Agustino Neto, also applauded Okoth for the good effort he has put in to ensure Kibera children get an education. Other organisations have decided to partner with the Kibera CDF office to award scholarships and bursaries to scholars in the area.

Over 5,000 scholars from the slums have benefited from the CDF kitty while those who applied and never been given any money to boost their school fees have been urged to channel their complaints at the Kibera Constituency Development offices at DC office through the constituency parliamentary liaison officer, Vincent Ayako.

Those joining form one from the area and performed well are set to be given school fees courtesy of the CDF kitty. The school fees will be paid for their education from form one to form four.
