A section of clergies drawn from Kisii and Nyamira counties respectively have urged president-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga to end their political differences and embark on preaching peace and unity for the sake of nation-building.
According to the men of God Kenya misses unity and businesses have been highly affected by the recent political heat.
Speaking while in at a peace concert that was held at luo and Kisii borders of Nyachenge market on Tuesday the clergymen expressed their disappointment.
Led by Kisii conference church association chairperson Elder Elvis Gekonge the clergies said they will hold frequent peace campaigns all over the Nyanza region that will see the political tension that has been on the rise calmed down.
"The country's peace is on the two leaders we want them in strike the way forward with a common goal of maintaining peace and unity that will result to a better working nation," said Gekonge.
