SShe however, only stayed in office for 30 minutes before leaving.

On Friday, three armed police officers were deployed at the office apparently to block her entrance after an Industrial Court in Nairobi reinstated her.

Speaking to the press in her office, Ms Ombara said she was sent on a 10-day compulsory leave that expired on Friday last week.

She resumed with a full track of events noting that her priority is to fill pot holes along the major roads in the city.

Ombara said she will also fence off the Kachok dumpsite to prevent the overflow of garbage onto the road.

“I have a lot to do, I have deadlines to beat. My first agenda is to fill the pot holes and work on the Kachok dumpsite,” she said.

The City Manager wondered on the manner in which she was removed from the office without even handing over.

Ombara said the four accounts of which she was a signatory were hurriedly replaced by other two signatories.

But upon resuming office, she was summoned to Governor Jack Ranguma’s office to report to the county Secretary Humphrey Nakitare for further direction.

Ombara waited for almost 8 hours and left without seeing Mr Nakitare.

“Through the city Inspectorate Director, I was told to go see Nakitare for further direction. I have been camping in his office for so many hours. I have left him a letter in his office,” she said.
