“The registrar should be given humble time to serve our people because, in the past, we had challenges and land cartels used to grab people’s lands daily. We are calling on those opposing the registrar’s good work to find an alternative county to go to and carry on with their illegal ways of acquiring land,” he told the press in Kisii town.

Onchagwa claimed some politicians grabbed land in Kisii County and are using some individuals to frustrate the work of the registrar.
“We want to urge the registrar of land not to succumb to threats by some individual who have been paid to frustrate his good work. State officials should be respected and given the opportunity to deliver services,” he added.
