Adul is demanding for concrete evidence from the commission that links her to the corruption allegation. She said witch hunting should not be applied in the fight against graft in the county.

“This is witch hunt and the commission should give me evidence linking to me to corruption, I am ready to appear in court,” she said.

She noted that she has not misappropriated public funds to seek for services that are benefiting her and challenged the commission to table evidence.

Addressing the press in Kisumu, Adul accused some unnamed county officials for fixing her with corruption allegations. She said that the county executive and the assembly should be investigated by the commission since corruption is the order of the day.

Adul said that her conscience is very clear and she is ready to appear before the courts and defend herself from the accusations leveled against her by the commission.

Speaker Adul is currently out of work pending an appeal case by the executive petitioning her reinstatement by the industrial court.
