National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has called on teachers and students to embrace dialogue to help curb the ongoing wave of unrest in secondary schools.
Speaking at Wamy High School during the school's annual prize giving ceremony, the Garissa Town MP further urged the eight member task-force formed to investigate the spate of school fires to speed up their investigations.
"I would like to reiterate that parents, teachers and students need to work together and communicate to end the madness we have witnessed recently," Duale said.
"Parents need to advise and guide their children and should not relegate their responsibility to teachers," he added.
The country has experienced a wave of school unrest, with schools torched every single day, forcing stakeholders to call for a reformed system to curb the menace.
