Uasin Gishu County CIPK chairman Abubakar Bini has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leaders to embrace dialogue and come up with amicable solution regarding the IEBC stalemate.
He said this issues of blame game ahead of October 26 presidential election will plunge this country to war.
"As religious leaders we are worried with where the country is heading and we call upon the two leaders to swallow their pride and embrace dialogue. If elections are done in this environment things may get out hands," he said in Eldoret town, Tuesday.
"If the issues will not be resolved Kenya might go back to the 2007 post-election violence way. Let them agree before any election is done for the elections to be credible," he added.
He, however, condemned the opposition for calling for anti-IEBC demonstrations.
"Demonstration will not solve the political temperature in the country but instead worsen the situation since many innocent lives are lost due to the demonstration," noted Bini.
He warned politicians against name calling and inciting utterances that may lead to war.
