Speaking while flagging off marathon aimed at supporting girl child education, in Ngarariga Girls High School on Saturday, Kabogo said he is worried by the higher number of heart related diseases in the county.

“I have visited different hospitals in the county and I have found out that the rate of heart related diseases are rampant,” notes Kabogo.

He urged residents to embrace exercise, since it will help them to keep most diseases at a bay.

“We do not have to use money to treat what we can prevent,” said Kabogo.

The governor said, healthy lifestyle will translate to development which everybody is yearning to achieve.

“When people are healthy they are able to work without interruption. This will translate to better economy,” observed Kabogo.

He warned that realization of vision 2030 may be shuttered by unhealthy communities.

“Good health is a priority to development. There is no need to look for money and fail to enjoy it. Let us keep fit,” he concluded.
