Schools from Bomachoge Borabu sub-county have been challenged to embrace Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education, for their learners to fit well in the fast changing technological world.

The Nazarene University, Kisii campus director, Dr Norah Nyamwamu has tipped school administrations on the importance of introducing ICT education in their schools as part of the efforts to churn out learners who are ICT compliant.

Speaking at Endereti Secondary School in Bomachoge Borabu sub-county, Nyamwamu challenged the School's administration to fast-track the introduction of computer classes in the school and promised to donate a computer to facilitate students acquire computer skills.

Responding to the School Principal, Steve Onyang'i's appeal for computer donations from well wishers to enable students undertake computer studies in the school, Nyamwamu challenged the administration to organize for a computer donation event through which well wishers can offer computer donations to the school.

"I am ready to participate in the computer donation event immediately the school administration organizes for the event, since a school like this cannot run without computer machines for setting and printing of internal examinations," stated Nyamwamu.

She encouraged students to embrace computer studies, since it had become a basic subject in all professional and academic careers, not only in the country but also all over the world.
