Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has called on Coast residents and Kenyans as a whole to embrace peace amid the political uncertainty being witnessed in the country.Speaking at Moi International Airport on Tuesday where he had gone to receive Sheikh Umar bin Hafidh, a Yemen Muslim scholar, the ODM Governor said peaceful coexistence is crucial, even as Kenyans continue to express their displeasure with the events in the country."We must coexist peacefully. Cohesion is important to all of us. There are many ways of showing our displeasure but we must do that peacefully,” said Joho. The county boss also urged Kenyans across the political divide to pray for the country.“Our country needs prayers. I urge Kenyans to pray for the sake of peace in the country,” added Joho.Joho added that the opposition will intensify its boycott campaign to pile more pressure on the Jubilee government until justice is served."NASA is not going to drop its boycott plans on certain services and products. The Jubilee administration must accept reforms and transparency in the electoral body. Our pressure must be felt with our supporters boycotting the products and services from the companies supporting the Jubilee regime,” said Joho.
