Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has urged county leaders to be united and stop wrangles that will derail development.
Speaking at St John’s Catholic Church in Subukia Sub County on Sunday, Mbugua said that continued wrangles among county leaders will affect his development agenda.
The governor said that unity is needed if the county is to register development adding that every leader must work towards uniting the public.
“I want to appeal to Nakuru leaders to remain united as we strive to boost development and bring services to the people,” he said.
Mbugua intimated that Nakuru is one of the fast growing county and that leaders must unite and work together.
He at the same time urged Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to accommodate each other views.
He said that MCAs are the representative of the county government at the grass root levels and must lead by example.
Governor Mbugua said his government is focused to address the problems facing Nakuru people.
He added that the county has started various development projects which will generate income for the people once complete.
