Police in Embu North sub-county are hunting for four men who allegedly attacked and raped a blind man in Ruguru village on Tuesday morning.

Manyatta Assistant County Commissioner Evans Otieno told citizentv.co.ke that the 57-year-old man was attacked and dragged into a bush by the four men where they committed the heinous act.

Otieno said the man was heading home at the time of the attack that left him injured.

“The old man was able to recognise one of the men by his voice and has given the name to the police,” he said as quoted by citizentv.co.ke.

The administrator added that the man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
