Raila challenged Uhuru to make public names of people involved in graft at the national government level.

Through his official Facebook account, Raila said on Wednesday that the high profile corruption being witnessed at the national government was sickening Kenyans.

Governor Kingi on Monday at a rally in his county publicly named persons said to have benefitted from the Sh51 millon the county government recently lost.

"I want to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta to borrow a leaf from the County Government of Kilifi especially with regard to the shameful scandal at Afya House," he said.

"A leaf from Kilifi County could also help the President and his team get to the bottom of the scams like NYS and Eurobond that are making Kenyans lose faith in government."

HE Governor Kingi not only publicly published the names of those implicated, but dismissed them and followed up with letters to the CID and EACC for appropriate action."

Kilifi County was recently hit by a scandal in which the county government lost Sh51 million to five local firms.

Deputy President William Ruto hit out at Kingi over what he claimed was laxity on his part to fight graft.

Residents from Coast region despite the DP's criticism supported Mr Kingi and defended his development record.

"Kenyans are sick and disgusted to see able, healthy and rich relatives, friends and associates of the president arrogantly declare that they are underprivileged and disabled and had a right to benefit from programs created for the youth, underprivileged women and the disabled while real deserving cases go home empty handed."

Raila has been telling Uhuru to show interest in ending graft which has dotted his government ranging from the NYS, Eurobond, SGR and lately the Health Ministry scandals.
