The Kenya National chamber of Commerce and Industry national vice chairman Laban Onditi has accused governors of doing little to develop their regions.
Speaking to journalists during the relaunch of Nyamira Chapter on Thursday, Onditi said the county bosses are doing things in an outdated manner hence lack room to develop their regions.
"They don't want to involve us in decision-making, every governor is implementing his awkward policies that won't make counties any better," said Onditi
The KNCCI vice chair further criticised counties still using the old system of collecting cess by mounting road blocks saying the revenue usually ends up in individual pockets.
"When will you develop if to date you are still doing things the old way? " posed Onditi.
