The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has called for the prosecution of Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
The committee recommended his prosecution after his law firm, Sing'oei Murkomen and Sigei (SMS) advocates, was linked to the Sh1 billion National Youth Service (NYS) scandal.
Murkomen could be charged alongside his firm partners, Sing’oei Murkomen and Sigei advocates, after the committee tabled the report in parliament, Thursday.
It is believed SMS failed to submit bank statements and other documents considered essential, to assist in investigations.
In the report tabled Thursday,, PAC also recommended a lifestyle audit on the former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru.
The Nicholas Gumbo-led committee wants the former CS barred from holding public office should she be found guilty over the NYS looting.
Murkomen has since sidelined his firm from the allegations.
He seeks a re-election in August elections.
