An MCA in Mandera County has called on NASA and Jubilee to begin talks in order to end the ongoing political stalemate ahead of the October 26 repeat of polls.
Morothile ward MCA Abdullahi Yunis Guliye said the current political impasse has a negative effect on the country's economy.
"I am a young leader and want to have a bright political future. What is happening is a threat to the rule of law", he said.
Guliye urged politicians from all the coalitions to embrace tolerance and give dialogue a room to end the wrangles as the repeat of presidential polls nears.
"The country can't go to elections with the divisions among the NASA and Jubilee politicians. Disagreements between NASA and Jubilee should be solved for peaceful elections to be held", he said.
He challenged IEBC to put everything in place to give Kenyans a fault free presidential election on October 26.
