Briefing the media at Juja town yesterday, area MP Francis Munyua expressed disappointment over the persistent wrangles among some leaders.

The MP said that political differences will divide the people and slow down development.

Munyua asserted that there is urgent need for leaders to unit and preach peace among their followers.

“Some of us are not happy with the continued wrangles pitting Governor William Kabogo and a section of MPs and MCAs,” said the legislator.

The lawmaker challenged governor Kabogo to take the bold step and unite the leaders.

He added that for purposes of development, leaders have no option but to consider the interests of the people.

Munyua said that time spent by politicians hurling insults at each other should be put to good use adding that he will seek forums where the county leaders will embrace each other.

The MP asked Kiambu people to keenly watch what some of their leaders are doing and make informed choices come 2017.
