Nyamira County Assembly Speaker Joash Nyamoko has asked gubernatorial hopefuls from West Mugirango to unite and endorse one person as the flag bearer.
Speaking at Magongo during the burial of his brother Mr Akisa Nyamoko, the speaker said the number of candidates eyeing the post from the constituency are many.
“I wonder what is this that is making the people of West Mugirango to announce their candidature for the gubernatorial race,“ Nyamoko said.
“I wish to challenge you to come together and endorse one person to contest the seat in 2017,” he added.
“Let this not be taken as malicious but a simple and humble challenge to our people of West Mugirango,” the speaker noted.
