A section of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MPs have accused National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale of ‘careless talk’ and challenge him to do research before commenting on critical matters.
This comes after Duale accused opposition leader Raila Odinga of allegedly depending of funds from a number of counties for political campaigns.
MPs John Mbadi (Suba), Junet Mohammed (Suna East) and Paul Otuoma (Funyula) warned Duale against ‘disrespecting’ Odinga, hinting a major political battle.
“Duale should respect Baba (Raila Odinga) or we deal with him. It is sad that he carelessly goes to public on very critical matters without substance,” Otuoma said.
“He should engage his brains first before opening his mouth. He has never spoken substance and that shows the kind of government we have. They are full of rhetoric and corrupt,” added Mbadi.
On his part, Junet challenged Duale to concentrate on defending his Garissa Town seat rather than going national where he allegedly has insignificant following.
“Duale is running away from Garissa because the challenge ahead is big. He should do away with national politics and defend his seat first,” he said.
