Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule has slammed Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for referring to the Ukambani Leaders Unity Forum a Wiper party affair.
Addressing journalists at Koma during the declaration meeting, Mule said Mutua is known for his tendency of betraying the Kamba community.
Mule said the Kamba leadership and residents will not give the governor more time to mislead a section of locals from Ukambani this time round.
"We know your plans and we won't give you a chance to divide the community further, Shut up if you are not attending the leadership meeting," Mule said.
He said the community will have absolute unity after the meeting.
"We will be holding such kind of meetings to ensure that there's no loophole to divide us as Kambas," Mule added.
Mule was responding to Governor Mutua's earlier statement that he would not attend the meeting since his Maendeleo Chap Chap party was not involved in its planning.
Mutua had claimed he did not receive an official invitation to attend the meeting.
However, Mule said no one was given an official invitation stating the mobilization was done in every platform.
"Those are lame excuses, no one was officially invited. Ask everyone who is here whether they had received official invitations to attend the meeting," Mule said.
