Form four leavers in Nakuru County have been urged to undertake short creative-oriented causes to boost their future career dreams as well as a way of keeping themselves busy and productive.
This was observed by Welington Kimtai, an Educational expert based at Mt.Kenya University during an end year party and parents forum at Njoro Boys School in Njoro on Thursday.
The don told the parents to enroll their form four levers sons in short causes like computer studies, marketing and sales, agribusiness, craft, fashion design and business studies causes in order for them to acquire self employment skills.
“This will ensure that the youth keep themselves busy and to avoid them indulging in drugs and alcohol or irresponsible sex and also criminal activities. Such causes will give them skills for self employment as they still brood over their future careers,” said Kimtai who is also the School’s Board Secretary said.
