Equity Bank is set to undergo a system upgrade forcing the bank to close all of its branches and suspend several services.
Following a statement released by the bank on Thursday the bank says it will shut down from October 20th to the 23rd.
EazzyLoan, EzzyPay and Internet banking are some of the services that will not be accessible during the upgrade.
“We are upgrading our systems. During this time, kindly note that all our branches will remain closed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused,” read the statement by Equity.
Despite this, customers will still have access to bank services through ATMs, agents, merchants and mobile banking.
The move adds Equity bank to the list of banks that have chosen to upgrade their software and boost the businesses efficiency.
Customers have been advised to conduct all the necessary bank transactions prior to the system upgrade to avoid any inconveniences.
