The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) chairman, Benjamin Onkoba, said that drugs in schools might be the cause of fire incidents in schools which might make students to go crazy and burn schools.

Addressing stakeholders on Wednesday during the meeting organised by the National Management Disaster unit, the chairman said that measures should be set on how they should eradicate drugs from schools.

“Let us set measures on how we can eradicate drugs from schools as one way of unrest fires in our schools,” said Onkoba.

Onkoba noted that drugs might be the cause of fire incidents in schools hence the measures should be addressed.

“We need to eradicate these drugs from our schools and teach our students good moral values,” noted Onkoba.
