[Photo|nation]The Kenya Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has confirmed Tuesday evening's tanker accident in Kisumu.Shortly after reports of the accident, ERC issued the below statement:"An accident involving a tanker ferrying diesel and a tuk tuk has occurred at Kachok roundabout, on Nairobi- Kisumu highway at about 7:00 pm this evening. Three people are reported dead and five others injured and have been rushed to the hospital. The truck has rolled over and oil spillage has been reported. Police have cordoned off the area. The county fire brigade is at the site to prevent ignition. ERC officials are also at the site and we will continue to update you on further developments."
