Celebrated comedian Erick Omondi has finally broken his silence after a video of him in his bathing suit with some young boys made rounds on social media.
A section of Kenyans were angered by the video and took to social media to express their outrage, however, Omondi has responded through his social page that the post was not intended to offend anyone.
"I have been a comedian all my life. Many are the times that I have errored. Today was one of those days. I have offended so many. I did not in anyway intend to offend anyone. I am deeply sorry for that," reads Omondi's Instagram post.
Omondi's apology was well received with some of his fans who hailed him for coming out to apologise but also told him to think before he posts anything on social pages.
However, the top comedian has been condemned by the Consumer Federation of Kenya(Cofek), KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua and many high level managers who felt the video was a clear case of comedy gone rogue.
