The government has denied sidelining any part of Kenya in matters development.
On Sunday, State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said every region is allocated resources for development as per the constitution, adding that all counties are entitled to the 15 per cent resource allocation which governors must use prudently.
He challenged governors to state their development track record regarding funds use.
He spoke in Kisumu where he said governors must be accountable to every monies they receive from the national government.
According to capitalfm.co.ke, Esipisu said the national government has ensured every part of the country is fully developed.
