As seen in shunning corruption cases and dealing with criminals, a President of the republic has to make courageous moves to protect the ordinary citizen from exploitation. This is done by firing and sacking those guilt of corruption, taking bribes and committing crimes. President Uhuru did this, by courageous sacking those accused of, guilty of corruption.
Besides, a good President should be respectful. He or she should be able to show respect to the outgoing government as well as the opposition. Despite the fact that there will be verbal altercations, it is kept calm by the correctness of respect. Most importantly by reminding each and every one of us that we are one, the tribe of Kenya - one nation. President Uhuru and Kibaki showed these attributes.
In addition, one needs to be firm and consistent. He should be truthful to his goal and able to achieve his manifesto. Kenyans before voting, consider the manifesto and its reality. Any failure in accomplishing the target is disrespectful and a remarkable downfall.
