Former Raila Odinga advisor Miguna Miguna has called on Nairobi people to reject Esther Passaris's gubernatorial bid since she was not garnering for the rights of the people but was 'selling beauty' to people.
Speaking during an interview on JKL show on Wednesday night, Miguna called on Passaris to forget the Nairobi gubernatorial race since the people were not going to vote for 'beauty' but a person of integrity he likened to himself.
According to Miguna, Passaris was acting in manners not befitting a leader for the people of Nairobi, further adding that she was not shy of being a socialite since she had declared herself as 'Mama Kasupu' and this was not a character of a leader.
"Passaris is just acting like a flower girl in politics. She is selling beauty to the people instead of setting agendas for the people of Nairobi. She should not be given a chance to lead Nairobi because she has no moral characters to bestore upon the people during her leadership," said Miguna.
The allegations by Miguna are in the wake of a hotly contested Nairobi gubernatorial race.
In Jubilee Party alone, several candidates have declared their interest for the party's ticket in the next polls.
Miguna declared he would vie for Nairobi's top job as an independent candidate 2017. For Passaris, her bid to see a smooth run come 2017 hit a snag when her bid to register her party was overruled by the court. Photo caption: Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna.
