Nairobi County Women representative Esther Passaris has resurfaced after a long break from the political scene.
Passaris has been missing from the limelight after the famous handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga on March 9.
She made a comeback on Thursday through her twitter account where she reacted to demolitions of curio shops in Westlands by the Kenya Urban Highway s Authority.
Passaris hit out at the authority for over what it termed as the inhumane handling of the situation.
"I am disheartened by how traders at the Westlands curio shops were mishandled this morning by @KURAroads. There has to be a better, more civilized way to evict business people from their premises without damaging their property and risking their livelihood," tweeted Passaris.
The shops were demolioshed on Thursday morining inorder to create room for expansion of the ring road in Westandlands.
The incident has let to criticism from different quaters , with many rebuking the stake holders of carrying out the exercise without notice.
