[Photo| NASA CCoalition]Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris expressed her sorrow following the Lang'ata inferno that destroyed property of unknown value on Sunday evening in Kijiji slam. The fire which it's cause is yet to be established, left hundreds of residents homeless with business structures burnt to to ashes. Efforts to put off the fire took too long as it was spreading so fast. In a message she wrote on her twitter page, Passaris said that she was currently away in Malawi for a strategic parliamentary workshop.The ODM legislator however noted that she was monitoring the situation through her sectional coordinator."My heart bleeds for residents of Kijiji in Langata. I am currently away in Malawi for a strategic parliamentary workshop but will monitor the situation through my sectional coordinator who has already called on the relevant authorities for rapid disaster response," said the NASA MP, Sunday.
