ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has condemned an incident where the party's Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen was roughed up, Wednesday.
The incident happened at Orange House, when Nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro led her supporters to protest the direct nomination handed to her rival, as he seeks to vie for the Ruaraka parliamentary race.
She accused the party of short-changing her by allegedly handing a direct nomination to incumbent TJ Kajwang.
''I have taken some time to understand what transpired at Orange House yesterday (Wednesday. I have been thinking so much about it. People leave their homes to storm a public office and rough up the CEO of the institution,'' he said, Thursday.
He noted it was foolish, stupid and backwardness for grown up men to attack an innocent man and go celebrating in the estate as if what they did was Godly.
''The ill-mannered men who attacked my boss Oduor Ong'wen should be ashamed. That was barbaric. And whoever send them to do that must be condemned,'' Etale added.
He warned that the image of the party must be upheld by all.
''Acts of hooliganism can't solve anything.''
