Criminals who use protests by the Opposition to steal from the public have been hired by Jubilee, an ODM official has claimed.
ODM director of communications Philip Etale made the remarks on Monday during a radio interview saying Jubilee was out to discredit the Cord protests aimed at removing the IEBC commissioners from office.
"We know the government is using every means available to discredit our protests and paint us as disorderly. Those who use our demos to commit crime are hirelings of Jubilee," he told Nation FM drive show.
Etale also added that the government has also sponsored an opinion poll published in one of the local dailies which claimed that majority of Kenyans do not support the street protests.
He vowed that the demos are here to stay until the commissioners bow out.
