[Photo/ODM]ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has left a message for Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, after Tuesday's incident in Vihiga.ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi was forced to rescue Wamalwa from irate residents after participants at the Maragoli Cultural Festival chanted anti-Jubilee slogans bringing operations at standstill at the Mbale Municipal Stadium in Vihiga County.Chanting 'hatutaki Jubilee!' chants, they demanded that Wamalwa should immediately leave the venue before the festival could go on as scheduled.Mudavadi who hails from the region, was forced to escort Wamalwa to his car, after which he was driven off.Gunshots rented the air to disperse the angry crowd that had started gathering near the former Justice Minister shortly before he left.COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli, area Governor Wilberforce Otichillo and Woman Representative Beatrice Adagala were also present.According to Etale, Wamalwa himself provoked the crowd."Eugene Wamalwa, please don't lower your dignity. Don't think being a CS can make you greater than the people," Etale said moments after the incident.
