Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has taken a swipe on Labour Party of Kenya party leader Ababu Namwamba for reportedly supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
The former ODM Secretary General fallout with his political mentor Raila Odinga mid this year and subsequently resigned from his post.
In his Facebook post on Friday, Etale alluded that Namwamba has become a person from Luhya community to make a decision without thinking.
“Thank you my big brother Ababu Namwamba for declaring your support for Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 and that is your decision,” read the post.
“You join other few leaders from the land of Mulembe who have without thinking, decided to support Jubilee,” he added.
Namwamba’s latest move is likely to spark a debate given his previously plans to form a movement which he termed as an option to Jubilee and Cord.
