As president Uhuru Kenyatta heads to western Kenya for vote hunting this week, ODM has raised its voice over his tour.

The party's Director of Communications, Philip Etale said Uhuru was free to tour the 'Mulembe Nation', as it is popularly known.

According to Etale, people of the Luhya community were welcoming, and would not decline to give Uhuru, the required hospitality.

He however warned him to be sure that locals would not vote for him as he seeks re-election.

Below is Etale's message to Uhuru over the tour:

''President Uhuru Kenyatta, you are warmly welcome to Kakamega, TransNzoia and Busia Counties, the land of MULEMBE.

People here are welcoming, good listeners, very loving and caring. You will be served hot Obusuma, omurere nende emiroo.

You will drink enough tea with amaenjere and be given somewhere to sleep for we the people of Ingo have high class hospitality.

We will treat you good and allow you time to mingle with our folks. But one thing they will not promise is to VOTE for you.

Otherwise welcome and feel at home.''
