Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary nominee Eugene Wamalwa has chided NASA coalition leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula for failing to turn up for the swearing-in of their co-principal Raila Odinga on January 30.
Speaking over the weekend at Bishop Anyolo Secondary School, Wamalwa noted that the two were cowards who lacked a clear stand.
According to Wamalwa, the move by the two leaders (Mudavadi and Wetangula) not to attend Odinga's inauguration was proof to the Luhya community that they could not be trusted.
"If Luhya nation will put their hopes on two cowards, then they are likely to suffer many political deaths," he said.
The Devolution CS nominee warned the opposition against calling for a fresh poll stating that elections were over and it was now time to move on.
Raila was sworn-in as the 'People's President' at Uhuru Park an event presided by lawyers Miguna Miguna and TJ Kajwang.
Following the inauguration, the two lawyers were arrested and charged in court for participating in an illegal gathering.
Kajwang was released on a bond of Sh 50,000 whereas Miguna Miguna was deported to Canada.
