In late 2016, worshipper Eunice Njeri and Isaac Bukasa popularly known as Izzo Raps walked down the aisle at a church in the United States.
The wedding saw many gospel singers and fans send tens of congratulatory messages.
Photos of the glamorous wedding were all over on social media as the two proved to the world their time to unite had come.
Less than four months after tying the knot, Njeri has come out with shocking news about the union.
According to Njeri, the wedding did not actually take place.
In a long post on her Instagram page, she explained that her heart belonged to somebody different from Izzo.
She deleted photos of the 'wedding' from her page and apologised to her fans.
Izzo has also deleted all the photos of Njeri on his Instagram page.
Njeri who had moved to the US to live with 'her husband' has since returned to Kenya.
The reason for the breakup is still unclear as Izzo has not come out publicly to tell his side of the story.
Here is what Njeri posted on Instagram with regard to the breakup:
"On the 27th Nov 2016, Isaac and I did go to the altar to get married, but at the end of that day I realized one thing, I couldn't do it, my heart was somewhere else. Probably in Africa doing what I do best, I am still trying to figure that out. I immediately left for Kenya and have been serving God the best way I know how. To all who supported Isaac, I am grateful may God bless you immensely. To all who were hurt in the process I apologize. The marriage was annulled (like it never happened). No papers were signed. Afterward(s) and we both made a decision to go our separate ways. I hope for your support and help as we move on. Like every other relationship, we hit a rock, maybe a little too early but have since overcome. Consequently, we have decided to go our separate ways and hope for the very best. God bless you."
Eunice Njeri.
