Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has claimed that despite Kalonzo's efforts to raise campaign funds for NASA, even God has said no to its presidential candidate Raila Odinga hence he cannot be president.
"We are seeing the efforts Kalonzo is making to ensure Raila becomes President but I think even God has refused. The NASA presidential candidate cannot be President,” Mbai said.
“Raila started being in opposition in his mother’s womb, he joined his late father in opposing Mzee Kenyatta’s leadership, opposed Moi, Kibaki and now Uhuru. He cannot be President, will continue being in opposition", he said.
Mbai now wants Kalonzo to join Jubilee claiming that he has been in the opposition for long without any benefit.
“We love Kalonzo but disagree with where he is taking us. Let him return home", he added.
Mbai was speaking during a Kamba Leaders’ Forum in Athi River town on Saturday. In attendance were businessmen, politicians, religious leaders, youths and locals.
