ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has said his greatest desire is to see President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto out of State House after the next general election.
Speaking to the press at his home in Nairobi on Saturday, Mudavadi said he has no problem with Cord leader Raila Odinga, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka or any other candidate becoming the next president of the Republic of Kenya as long as Uhuru and Ruto go home.
“My main aim is to see Jubilee government out of power,” he said as quoted by Daily Post.
He added: “I don’t care who becomes President in 2017.”
Mudavadi further said it will be impossible for Cord to beat Jubilee in the next general polls if the leaders are not going to work with other like-minded politicians.
He urged the opposition leaders to join him in making the National Super Alliance (NASA) a reality as they look forward to clinching the presidency in 2017.
“Those focusing on Cord alone are therefore missing the point,” said Mudavadi.
“The opposition will present a single candidate and Cord will be part of that arrangement."
