Is there a story unfolding in your community? Let Hivisasa know

When there's a village function those who have come from the city are always treated as 'guests', never mind that they were once upon a time village children. Then there is the village dweller who tries to impress the city dwellers with his great English. It doesn’t matter that the 'guests' understand the village dialect, the point is to make it clear that he saw the inside of a classroom and therefore he is capable of negotiating on the Queen's behalf. They will throw an English sentence here and there...which really is fine. But just want someone to tell my uncle that my mother is his blood sister, not his bloody sister.

To find yourself you have to go away from all the noise to the place of silence and not just physical silence but also spiritual silence. You may have to go silent for a long time, as you travel along on a journey of self-discovery. But it is a journey that we must all travel. Friends and family may not understand and they may think something is wrong with you, they may even think you have become aloof or proud or even disturbed.

But you must find your dream, you must confront your desires & hopes, you must face your fears and your ambitions. You must find yourself, you must make yourself. You have to become who you were meant to be. You must know thyself.

That’s why your identity is still paramount when interacting with those village dwellers and most of them who are idol and ready to respect and worship any command that comes out your mouth.

Lest we forget our village is our identity.
