Former Law Society of Kenya boss Okong'o Mogeni says the Supreme Court will 'definitely' nullify President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory on 'violation of constitutional' provisions.
On Monday, six judges will yet again make an all important judgment on validity of October elections which were challenged by two Kenyans.
"It will be a grand ruling and I see many reasons to nullify than even the August polls. There was total violation of the constitution in the repeat poll," he said at an event in Nyamira.
Among issues raised were failure for IEBC to conduct a nominations and inclusion of Cyrus Jirongo despite being declared bankrupt by the High Court.
And for Supreme Court to uphold respect, he says, they will stand with the rest of the country at the expense of political demands.
"The grounds such as nominations and bankruptcy will alone lead to nullification and that is exactly what shall happen," he said.
Okong'o, who doubles as Nyamira senator, was part of Raila Odinga's legal team in the August nullified presidential results.
