Former Bomet governor Isaac Rutto has once again reiterated that he will not frustrate his Joyce Laboso's leadership.
Laboso beat Rutto during the August polls on a Jubilee Party ticket to become the second governor of the South Rift County.
Speaking during a public function attended by Laboso over the weekend, Rutto insisted that there was no bad blood between him and his predecessor after a bruising political battle during the polls.
“It is a normal competition and there is always a loser,” he maintained.
Both Rutto and Laboso could not see eye to eye in the run up to the last general elections.
However, sharing a platform for the first time during Laboso's swearing in ceremony, Rutto agreed to bury the hatchet.
“Count on me. I will not interfere with your leadership. It is your time to lead and I will only come in to support where possible,” he said at the time.
